The key to using these lights to full effect is mounting them securely, and everything you need in order to do this is included in the hardware kit, which contains mounting clips, cable ties, and screws. The lights themselves are extremely long-lasting--they're rated at 35,000 hours, and the heavy-duty PVC rope is an unobtrusive 3/8-inch in diameter. For longer runs, you can easily connect one set to another (up to 330 feet maximum).

Selecting the Right-Sized Medallion
When selecting the size of your ceiling medallion, you should consider three factors. You should first consider the size of the fan or fixture. Medallions should be smaller or larger than the diameter of your ceiling fan or lighting fixture--they should not be the same size.
You should also think about the height of the ceiling. Higher ceilings can accommodate larger medallions, and medallions that are 28-inches or larger can complement two-story foyers.
Finally, be sure to consider the size of your room when selecting your medallion. Large rooms accommodate large medallions, while small rooms are better suited to small medallions. For a typical dining room with an 8-foot to 9-foot ceiling, a medallion that is 18 inches to 26 inches in diameter works well.

Easy Installation with Ceiling Fan or Lighting Fixture
With a 4-inch center opening, the Bellezza medallion is easily installed at the same time as a ceiling fan or lighting fixture, and it comes complete with all necessary mounting hardware. Simply apply adhesive and screw or nail the medallion to any surface--the polyurethane won't warp, split, or splinter. If you choose, the medallion can also easily be caulked or spackled to hide installation hardware.
